As part of digital transformation in the tax sector, the Tax Authority is preparing to add an AI function on eTax Mobile. This new function is expected to help taxpayers file tax more easily.

1. AI Support for Tax Filing and Tax Information Search

With AI support, tax filing can become simpler. Users may only need to enter basic information such as business location and sales amount. The system will automatically calculate tax, prepare the filing information, and users can review and confirm the application.

The AI function is also expected to help users quickly check important tax information, including yearly income, dependent information, tax payment status, tax debt, and information related to travel restrictions caused by unpaid tax.

2. E-Invoice Rules for Businesses with Multiple Locations

According to Decree 141/2026/NĐ-CP, business households and individual businesses with yearly revenue above VND 1 billion must use e-invoices according to regulations.

If a business has many locations, one common tax code must be used for all stores, and the business location code must be shown on the invoice.

3. Important E-Invoice Updates from January 1, 2026

Under the Law on Tax Administration 2025, from January 1, 2026, e-invoice management will continue to focus on better data management, stronger system connection, and higher data security.

Businesses, business households, and individuals must issue e-invoices correctly and ensure complete and accurate information. E-invoice solution providers also need to support monitoring, warning functions, and cooperation with the Tax Authority.

As the Tax Authority expands the use of technology and AI, businesses should stay updated on new regulations and improve internal processes for the digital environment.

As an accounting and e-invoice solution provider, AMnote continuously updates its system and develops new technology and AI functions to support businesses in improving tax, invoice, and financial management.
